Her repertoire includes Scottish and Irish traditional music, hymns, old standards, American and British folk music, and an assortment of "oldies and goodies", as well as improvisation. In 2007 Sara completed her internship to become a Certified Music Practitioner through the MHTP (Music for Healing and Transition Program). She has been playing "non-traditional" music for weddings for over ten years, specializing in out-door weddings in parks and back-yards throughout the State of Indiana.
In 2000 she earned the title of Millennium Harper of Indiana Historical Sites through Harping For Harmony. At that time she played in over 25 historical sites in the State, including the Gene Stratton-Porter State Historic Site, the Culbertson Mansion, T.C. Steele; Corydon Capitol; Grissom Air Museum; Pigeon Roost; Whitewater Canal Duck Creek Aqueduct, Vincennes State Historic Sites, Brown County State Park, West Baden Springs; and the James Whitcomb Riley House. |
